Butlin’s had lost its confidence and all sense of its great history. By delving into its past, we recaptured the spirit and purpose of Sir Billy Butlin. And culturally it was timely to re-invent the ‘golden age of the seaside holiday’. Our nostalgic positioning, innocent tone of voice, and fresh design shaped all their comms, as well as the decor of new chalet villages and design of a new pool complex.
